My Story

For as long as I can remember, I’ve always been driven by two passions: technology and theatre. Growing up, I split my time between coding projects and rehearsing for the next show, fascinated by the art of both building and performing. For years, I pursued these two worlds in parallel, never quite sure how they might intersect.

When it came time to begin my career, I chose to follow the technology path, starting as a frontend engineer at Audible. I loved the challenge of solving complex technical problems and creating user experiences, but even as I got to dig into my coding passions, I always felt the familiar pull of my theatrical interests. I missed the connection, storytelling, and energy that comes from being in front of an audience.

In the intersection of my two worlds, I found my calling: developer relations. As a Developer Relations Engineer, I get to combine my technical expertise with my passion for communication, helping other developers learn, build, and grow. Whether I’m creating educational videos, delivering talks, or coaching others on presentation skills, I’m driven by the same goal: to educate, entertain, and inspire. I want to give people the knowledge and the confidence to pursue their goals.

Over the past few years, I’ve led Square’s developer video program, where I designed a scalable production processes and created content that helps developers succeed with Square’s APIs and SDKs. Before that, I was a Developer Advocate for Ionic, helping grow the Stencil developer community and producing tutorials that simplified web component development. And it all started at Audible, where I worked as a frontend engineer, building accessible, user-friendly web experiences.

Today, I’m passionate about using storytelling, education, and technology to build meaningful connections and vibrant communities. When I’m not working, you can find me tinkering on side projects or performing personal stories on stage.

I believe the future of developer education lies at the intersection of technology and human connection, and I’m excited to be part of building it.
